ToeMotion – total endoprosthesis of the first metatarsophalangeal joint

The first metatarsophalangeal joint implant is a high-tech system designed to conform to the shape and profile of the cartilage surface. It is a contoured cap that covers the area of damaged cartilage to protect the remaining (healthy) cartilage of the joint.
Indications:
Stiff toe, restricted toe, hallux valgus toe, as well as unstable or painful metatarsophalangeal joint.
Components:
– cap (asymmetrical as well as symmetrical) – the articular component of the metatarsal bone built of CoCrMo alloy, from the side of the
bone contact side sprayed with CPTi titanium, – titanium fixation screw.
Instrumentation allows the prosthesis to be implanted using the “in-lay” technique. – after implantation, the surface of the prosthesis faces the surface of the cartilage.
