EpiGARD® – wound dressing

EpiGARD® is a synthetic temporary dressing used before skin grafts. When changed daily, EpiGARD® cleans the wound and aids in the granulation process.

The dressing is two-layered, made of an outer layer – a thin microporous film (polytetrafluoroethylene) – permeable to water vapor, while preventing the penetration of microorganisms from the external environment, and an inner layer – a soft, flexible polyurethane, which supports the process of mechanical cleansing of the wound from necrotic tissue (during dressing changes), promoting the granulation process and preparing it for transplantation.

The product is packaged sterile. The product is available in 5 sizes.
