PolyPIN – implant for fixation of cartilage and bone fragments

PolyPIN is a bioresorbable implant designed for fixation of bone and cartilage elements.

PolyPIN is made of a copolymer of polylactide (Poly L/D, L-lactide 70/30), retains its mechanical properties for 24 weeks, degrades to lactic acid, and is then metabolized to CO2 and H2O. At the site of its implantation, bone tissue is formed.

The unique design of the implants ensures proper anchorage and provides adequate compression of bone fragments.

The product is available in three diameters: 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.7 mm.
